DIY Wall Decor
Materials:
- 3 clear glass vases - small sizes
- I bought mine at IKEA
- Manilla Rope
- Spray Adhesive
- Fake leaves (or real)
- Pin
Ok guys, this is SUPER simple to make... if I can do it, so can you!
First off... decide which leaves you would like to use, as you can see in my picture, I only have one real one, which is the Eucalyptus but you are more than welcome to use your creativity.
Second step is to arrange the plants inside the glass vases, make sure they look good and not bent.
Next is to measure out the rope - Used Manilla rope for a rustic decor but you can technically get creative here too, maybe use a sting of lights instead?
I measured how long I wanted my decor to be, then made the calculations knowing that I was going to circle each vase 3 times around. You can actually just wrap the rope around the vases to get an exact amount of rope. Don't forget to leave some hanging off the bottom.
Third step is to spray the outside mouth of vase with the Adhesive spray. Be careful not to spray too much, it's very sticky and strong and it might get you a bit dirty too. Do each vase at a time, so you can spray it, and them wrap the rope around it and let it dry. I give about 15 minutes in between each, so they don't fall apart on me.
Once you are done with all 3 of them, place the pin on the wall, and make a knot around it so it stays in place.
TA-DAAAAAAN! 👊☺
