Bar Hopping in Fort Lauderdale

HMMMM Did someone say Bar Hopping? .....YES! Yes I did ;)

There are many things that I have learned from this adventure, to be more exact there are 5 of them.

1. I get it why Taco Craft is so #local. 2. I didn't care for the burgers at RokBrgr, as much as I wish I had. 3. My favorite Old Fashioned is made with Rum (total, whaaaaaaaaaa moment). Four, I never knew Bull Market offers Kareoke night, another whaaaaaaaaa moment. Five, The Royal Pig, a gastro pub, reminds me so-freaking-much of Harry Potter.

Alright guys... moment of truth!

1. My first stop was none other than....... TACO CRAFT ..
Let me begin by explaining that this post came to me, because I wanted to write reviews of the restaurants and hang out stops that locals like to go to in Fort Lauderdale. With that being said, this tiny little Mexican place climbed the ladder to my heart pretty quickly. Their tacos are really flavorful and tasty. They were very well seasoned,
I definitely recommend the Crispy Pork Taco... Their Margaritas are really good!! On Monday's they are $5 from 8pm till close. What's better than that?! Spicy Margaritas and Fresh Tacos!Enjoy my Gourmet Tour!

2.ROK BRGR ... It's a very chill place. I have stumbled upon this bar many times down the Streets of Fort Laudy, and I mean, it was only logical to add it to my list!
It's always packed! Everyone raves about it, soooooooo I decided to give it a try.  To be honest, I was a little bit disappointed. They are alright, just a bit over priced and over hyped.  It's the curse of having a delicate appetite. Super unfortunate because I always hear such great things about it, I definitely wanted to love it... Personally I didn't think it was a memorable experience. It was big and bold, so if you are into it, you'll enjoy!!The bar itself is wicked cool, the staff was very friendly and had me try some cocktails on the side while waiting for my food. It's a very much like a tavern inside, which I looooove! All in all it was a nice area, but definitely more for the night time.

3.  Big City Tavern
This place was pretty popping for a Monday afternoon, by this time it was definitely happy hour at most restaurants, downtown life gets a bit busier, but the bar and restaurant had a crowd. I had a Lychee Martini, yummmmmm, it's very light and semi sweet! If you like Martini's give it a try. The whole atmosphere is cool, you know.. I wouldn't mind if they had an area with couches to sit around and waste time.. there are many decorations to contemplate and elaborate on. I would definitely give this a thumbs up :)

 4. The Royal Pig
I really like this place, the atmosphere reminds me of Harry Potter.  This place is a Gastro Pub, and there has not been one time when I have been here, and its been empty. In the heart of Fort Lauderdale, close by one of my favorite restaurants, in between the tall buildings, this is where its at! The only issue is parking around the area, but always doable. I have been dying to try their food, but by this time, I couldn't even breath! waaaawaaaaa ... so unfortunate. Even so, I did #win, okay? Their cocktails are always boozy! If you are into Whiskey, Bourbon, Beer or alcohol, you will have a great time. The food smells amazingggggggg, and there is always people at the bar enjoying themselves to some appetizers. They have great prices on happy hour and finger foods. Royal pig, just you wait ;)

 5. Burlock Coast Seafare & Spirits

Okay guys, who would have thought the Bar at Hotel (Ritz Carlton) was going to be my favorite of them all? Well, I almost didn't go. By this time, I was preeeeetty happy, debating if I really wanted any more Booze, you know? Since I mixed, Beer, Tequile, and Whiskey.... hehehe I don't recommend, please drink responsibly. Anywayyyys, this place stole my heart! The whole theme is the Prohibition Era, with the Rum Running. All drinks are made withhhhhhh... yes you know it, RUM! I was so skeptical about trying an old fashioned made with Rum(like, really..?I'm one of those that likes to judge the ice cube choice in the drink, and yes it does make a difference), but to my surprise, it was the only restaurant to use real sugar in their recipe, and the taste was out-of-this-world phenomenal! You can sit on a couch by the outside area, where they can light up a tiny fire pit for you, and you can see the sunset at the beach. This was definitely a romantic spot, somewhere I could see myself ALSO having happy hour with my coworkers and a cigar on hand. Hands down my favorite spot!

Thank you for reading! Hope you guys enjoyed the Bars!
